2020-01-08-B Arrival - Taipei, Taiwan

We're in Taipei!

Taiwan seems to be super cheap even with the poor Australian dollar.

But the best thing? Uber actually works here in Taipei. I can take Uber from the airport without worrying about getting hopelessly lost and useless (my Mandarin is about as good as my Russian, which I don't speak).

Once we got to the hotel it was already around 3am (long trip through immigration). What an amazing hotel! Not because of the place (that was nice too) but because it was connected to the Family Mart downstairs.

Like you literally go inside the Family Mart then take an elevator right into your hotel room.

In the morning you just go downstairs, use your breakfast coupons, get stupid cheap food, then go straight back up. I can live here forever and never have to leave the building ever again! That is good and bad at the same time.
