Final day! Today we're going to visit ESlite Xinyi, the largest bookstore in Taiwan. It was kinda disappointing unfortunately, a mere generic department store that happened to have books.
Sweet One Punch Man ads in the subway.
Cheese toast breakfast.
We had some actually amazing pasta in a food court of all places. No pics!
High end chopsticks, with coffee beans to test out your picking up skills.
Displayed steak, kinda like a duckhouse but steaks. Its a really weird thing to do in Perth, but it kinda makes sense here.
Now 7-11s are even MORE convenient, you don't even need a shopfront anymore!
Launch Taiwan Meetup! Met some fellow entrepreneurs in Taipei. Some good connections here. A much larger representation of electronic engineers than anything else in that room of around 15 people.
Its a pretty cool co-working space.
Final night buffet!Wasn't cheap. It was expensive AND cash only. How do tourists survive here without an ATM? Any Google search basically results in "dude just exchange a jillion bucks at the airport when you land".
Which works until you overspend because there's lots of cool stuff, or you have some useless currency like our Australian dollar. Then what?
Packet noodles for your soup. At least they're not pretending they're handmade.
Unlimited desserts.
Szechuan-y style sauces.
Drinks of all kinds. You can make your own bubble tea. There's also unlimited beer!
Good quality ice cream as well.
Unlimited seafood, of the wackier variety (fish maw, sea cucumber etc).
Good mushrooms and other exotics (steamed shark).
Our dessert plate. We were kinda full near the end but we powered through it.
